What is a Fiduciary

A fiduciary is an individual or entity that represents the interests of others, including individuals, families, or organizations. Fiduciaries prioritize their clients’ interests over their own, with a responsibility to uphold trust and act in good faith.

Currently, only Independent Registered Investment Advisors are legally required to function in a fiduciary capacity. In contrast, Brokers or Financial Advisors associated with larger orgaizations follow a less rigorous “suitability” standard, which lacks the same commitment to prioritizing client interests over their own.

The adoption of the fiduciary role is crucial in our approach to client service. We set ourselves apart by strictly adhering to a fee-only model and maintaining transparency, ensuring there are no concealed costs or fees.

What is a Certified Financial Planner?

A Certified Financial Advisor, or CFP, is a financial advisor with certification to provide financial planning services to individuals. CFPs can create personalized plans for investments, retirement, insurance, education financing, tax strategies, and estates. One of the most significant aspects of a CFP’s role is their commitment to act as a fiduciary, always prioritizing their client’s best interests.

Which Medicare policy is best for me?

Once you are eligible for Medicare at age 65, finding affordable medical insurance is a critical and complicated part of your retirement planning.

For most people who enroll in Medicare Part A and B, buying an additional plan is a good choice. Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement plans provide coverage for some “gaps” in your Medicare coverage and can save you money. We can help navigate the complexities of which policy may be right for you.
